Named after springtime, we have been making the Primavera Chardonnay since 1998. This wine is a bright and fresh expression of Chardonnay and is a blend from our two Estate vineyards in Granton, Derwent Valley and Cradoc, Huon Valley. These two terroirs build a layered falvour profile, the richness coming from the Granton fruit meanhwile the brightness coming from the Cradoc fruit. All of the Chardonnay is matured in a mixture of vessels - mainly the juice fills 228L barriques, with some seasoned 500L Austrian oak foudres and a stainless steel tank.
