Our Chardonnay wonderfully expresses our soil and vintage conditions thanks to gentle handling in the vineyard and winery. Both Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are made with a hands off approach in the winery. The hallmarks of our Chardonnays are their elegance, glamour and finery. Our vines are influenced by their unique terroir and Tasmania’s long cool growing season, developing grape flavour, tannin physiology and acid balance.

Collina 2023 has plenty of fruit with grapefruit, mandarin peel, white nectarine and Coxin’s apple on the nose. The palate mirrors the fruit from the nose and introduces preserved lemon, flint and nougat. The acid is present throughout and dances through the creamy mouthfeel.

2024 Primavera Chardonnay has a nose of white nectarine, meyer lemon and sea spray with a subtle hint of white flowers. The palate is concerntrated with muted pineapple, citrus custarrd and almond tart. Our 2024 Primavera Chardonnay is poised and powerful.

The 2025 Primavera Chardonnay has a nose of yellow nectarine, lemon and white grapefruit. The palate backs up this fruit with concentrated salted cashew and lemon delicious pudding. Use of 100% malolactic fermentation promotes a creamy texture, leading to a longer finish.

The 2024 Estate Chardonnay comes off 2 blocks within 500m of each other at our estate single vineyard. There are stone and citrus fruits with alluring notes of hazelnut, crème brûlée, mazipan and chalky minerality. The palate is complex and round, creaminess and a full mouthfeel are due to the 100% malolactic fermentation in 228L French oak barriques 20% new.
